What each service includes
Revenue growth strategy
We dig into your sales data, customer segments, and pricing to find the fastest path to higher revenue. This is not a generic growth plan. We interview your sales team, shadow customer calls, and analyse win/loss records before writing a single recommendation.
- Pricing audit: we benchmark your prices against five direct competitors and test elasticity with a controlled price-change experiment over four weeks.
- Customer retention analysis: we calculate your churn rate by segment and identify the three to five interventions most likely to improve it.
- Pipeline redesign: we map your current sales process stage by stage, measure conversion rates at each step, and remove or restructure the weakest stages.
- Quarterly review sessions for twelve months after delivery, included in the project fee.
Operational efficiency
Our consultants spend two weeks embedded in your operations: observing workflows, timing processes, and talking to the people who do the work every day. We have found that the biggest savings usually come from changes nobody has thought to question because "we have always done it this way."
- Supplier contract renegotiation: we review your top twenty suppliers by spend and renegotiate terms. Average saving across past clients: 11 % of addressable procurement spend.
- Process mapping and waste identification using lean principles adapted for service and manufacturing environments.
- Reporting automation: we identify manual reports that can be replaced with automated dashboards, typically saving 15–20 staff hours per week.
- Implementation support: we stay on-site during the transition period, usually four to eight weeks, to troubleshoot and train staff.
Leadership and talent
Hiring the wrong person for a senior role costs roughly 1.5 times their annual salary when you add recruitment fees, onboarding time, lost productivity, and severance. We reduce that risk by running structured assessments before you make an offer and coaching new leaders through their first 90 days.
- Role definition workshop: we work with the hiring manager and their team to define what success looks like in the first year, not just a list of qualifications.
- Structured interview design: we build a scoring rubric tied to the role definition so every interviewer assesses the same competencies.
- Psychometric and situational-judgement testing, interpreted by a BPS-qualified practitioner.
- 90-day onboarding programme: fortnightly coaching calls with the new hire and monthly check-ins with their manager.
Market-entry planning
Expanding into a new geography or customer segment is expensive. We build the business case before you commit capital, then project-manage the launch if you decide to go ahead.
- Market sizing: we estimate the addressable market using primary research (interviews with potential customers) and secondary data (ONS, trade bodies, Companies House filings).
- Competitor mapping: we profile the five strongest incumbents, their pricing, distribution, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Go/no-go recommendation with a financial model showing break-even timeline under three scenarios (conservative, base, optimistic).
- If you proceed, we manage the launch plan for up to six months: hiring, channel setup, first-customer acquisition, and weekly progress reporting.
How a typical engagement works
Most projects follow four stages. The timeline depends on scope, but a mid-sized operational review usually takes ten to fourteen weeks from kickoff to handover.
Diagnostic
Two weeks. We review your data, interview key staff, and observe day-to-day operations. At the end we present findings and a costed proposal. If the projected return does not justify the fee, we tell you and you owe nothing beyond the diagnostic cost (£3,500).
Planning
One to two weeks. We agree on deliverables, milestones, and success metrics with your leadership team. Every recommendation has a named owner on your side and a named consultant on ours.
Implementation
Four to ten weeks. We work alongside your team to execute the plan. This is where most consulting firms disappear; we stay. Weekly progress calls keep everyone accountable.
Review
Six and twelve months after handover. We measure actual results against the targets set during planning. If a recommendation has not delivered, we rework it at no extra charge.
Questions we hear often
Two weeks from the day we receive access to your data and people. We need about four hours of your senior team's time during that period for interviews and a walkthrough of operations.
You pay only the diagnostic fee of £3,500 and keep the findings report. About one in eight diagnostics ends this way. We would rather lose a project than deliver work that does not pay for itself.
Yes. About 40 % of our clients are outside West Yorkshire. For the diagnostic and implementation phases we travel to your site. Planning and review sessions can be done remotely. Travel costs within England are included in our fees; Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland attract a small travel supplement.
Most of our clients have between 30 and 500 employees and annual revenue of £3 m to £80 m. We have worked with smaller owner-managed firms and with subsidiaries of larger groups. The common thread is that the leadership team is hands-on and wants practical changes, not theoretical frameworks.
Yes. We offer standalone services such as a pricing audit (five to seven working days, £6,500) or a leadership assessment for a single hire (£8,000). These still begin with a scoping call so we understand your context before starting.
